A binding machine is a binding device that uses mechanical means (manual or automatic, fully automatic) to fix paper, plastic, leather, etc. with binding nails or hot melt glue, nylon tubes, and other materials. [Binding thickness]:
Binding thickness refers to the thickness of documents that can be bound by a binding machine, usually measured in millimeters (mm), but some products are also measured by the number of bound pages (sheets). The thickness that a typical binding machine can bind is mostly between 20mm and 50mm, or around 400 pages. Ordinary applications can choose 20mm products. For those with special needs, they can choose products with thicker binding thickness.
[Binding Specifications]:
Binding specifications refer to the maximum punching width and punching area, which is the maximum width between the binding holes used in a binding process and the area of one hole. This indicator is usually measured in millimeters, and the drilling area is expressed as 3mm * 8mm.
There are many types of binding machines, but their working principles are similar. Except for fully automatic binding machines, general binding machines can be roughly divided into the following two steps for binding.
The first step is to drill holes. On general binding machines, there is a ruler that can be used as a reference to adjust the left and right positions. There is a single board at the back that can adjust the front and rear margins. The adjustable margin is usually around 2.5CM. Manual machines can be adjusted by turning the knob at the back of the machine, and automatic machines can be adjusted by adjusting the two knobs on the side. After aligning the position, the hole can be punched.
